Has anyone had any experience with Debt Regret for credit card debt settlement?
If so, can you tell me your experience and if it worked for you. Have you used another company and had a good experience? If so, who?

- I dont have experience with this one, but whatever you do, do not use any company who asks you to close the accounts. Closing your credit card accounts will severely hurt your credit score. You need to get your balances paid off and then cut up the cards---but DO NOT close the accounts.
- You will get a better deal by contacting the credit card company and negotiating the fee and repayment plan. That is exactly what Debt Regret does, except they don't get you quite as good a deal, they add a little something extra on for themselves. It may sound like a good deal and they count on you not knowing just how forgiving a credit card company can be if they think they will be stiffed for the whole amount. Call the card company directly, they do this every day!
- i have heard of them and others like them they are a a service that negoiates with your creditors. these companies negiotate with your debtors to get them to settle for a lowner amount. this kills your credit i mean kills it. this is worse that declaring bankruptcy!!! by far much worse after you are done all the cards they settled for you will have a note attached not paid as agreed. if you file for bankruptcy the judge will order them to take a lesser amount and you make payments once you file they can no longer charge you any additional fees. the payment is about the same as the credit settlement company but its all going into your debt and not half of it going into the settlemant company. its better to go with the bankruptcy its cheaper than the debt settlement companies. It wont wreck your creditas bad as the settlement company
- You can consult with a debt consolidation agency but all are not good . Try to get some who are BBB online registered organisations and are member of US chamber of commerce and then apply online and get their help. They will help you to fix your credit and also relief you from the debt. To know more you can visit http://www.debtconsolidationmanagement.blogspot.com and http://www.creditcardbiz.blogspot.com
