Debt Negotiation Advice

Has anyone ever used CreditSolutions the debt settlement company?

I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has in fact used this company call Credit Solutions, & if so, what is helpful & how does it work??? Does debt settlement in any way ruin or apply negativity to your credit score?? I have excellent credit, but don’t want to risk messing it up by opting for credit settlement. PLEASE ADVISE!!!

  1. Yes and they lied to me, took my money without permission and then when I called to question them they never returned my calls. I would not recommend them. Get a consolodation loan. Most companies will send out the checks to the bill companies for you and then you only pay the loan back. You can also negotiate before they are paid off and usually you can get them to accept as little as 50% of the total for all of the payoff. And this looks good on your credit. With CreditSolutions, you pay them a big fee mothly and the bill companies will still call you but you are not suppose to pay them. CreditSolutions is suppose to be paid by you to negotiate for you, all the while the unpaid bills keep tacking on your credit.... its not a good deal at all. They tell you to pay them but save your money and then when they are done negotiating you are suppose to pay off the total amount that they want when they say it. SO YOU STILL HAVE TO TAKE OUT A LOAN TO PAY IT, UNLESS YOU HAVE THE MONEY SAVED UP ALREADY - BUT IF YOU DID THEN YOU WOULD JUST PAY YOUR BILLS OFF RIGHT.....EX: If they neg a bill down to $3000 instead of $5000, then you have to pay the entire $3000 THEN or you don't get that offer again. So get a consolidation loan and negotiate yourself and since ou will have the loan you can pay it off then. Like I said, you have to pay almost $200-$300 monthly for CreditSolutions and they FREEZE your bank account. If they tell you they don't, they are lying!!! They did it to me.
  2. well it depends on what your trying to fix your credit for. if it's to buy a home then i would not suggest it. i would got to a company that has rapid re-score. that is the best way of going. some companies look at that as bankruptcy. i fixed my credit with this lady that runs her own credit company and she got my credit score up by 161 points. she charged me $350.00 her # is 7726269778 ask for Melissa. she might be able to help you out.. good luck
  3. I used Credit Solutions and it went well. What they can't do is stop creditors from sueing you. Which one of mine did. They did negotiate down my bills really well. But then you will get a 1099 from at the end of the year for any amount over $600.00. I learned alot from CS and have successfully negotiated 3 accounts myself. It does cost alot of money and you do alot of the work your self. I would recommend calling your creditors and trying to work something out yourself, but this can have consequences all its own. I did this before CS and they basically said sorry. This same co. has now lowered my apr to 9.9% which would have helped me in the beginning. CS will trash your credit, but if you are over extended your credit is probally messed up or will be soon. Hope this helped a little bit.
