Debt Negotiation Advice

I am negotiating debt management with my creditors,Capital one say they will agree but must pay £129 for 3 mon

I find that you can negotiate directly with creditors,as they are not that keen to involve a third party who take a chunk, unless someone like Consumer Credit Council who really good woth help, cant speak to highly of,they would do it all for free of course.Anyone with any advice?

  1. No
  2. make a budget leaving only the amount you want to pay spare, sent it too them with a letter offering to pay that amount, odds are they will agree. look at www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk they have realy helpfull advice and infomation on companys procedures and harrasment techniques
  3. first get them to agree to freeze the interest. Then agree a monthly amount that you can afford.
  4. Patchway - Don't be naive. Phone C.C.C.S. for advice - you don't have to sign up with them - and they know all the 'tricks of the trade' that these fellows like Capital get up to. (That's why Creditors don't want them involved.)
